An appeal for witnesses has been issued following an alleged hit-and-run in Dublin on Thursday.
A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a blue-coloured saloon car at the junction of Mulhuddart village on Blanchardstown Road South at around 9.50am on 18 July.
The 50-year-old man was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital.
It is believed the driver of the car continued in the direction of Mulhuddart following the collision.
Gardaí said a number of motorists stopped and attended to the cyclist while waiting for emergency services to arrive.
They have appealed for any witnesses or anyone who may have been driving in the area between 9.50am and 10.10am and who may have dashcam footage to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 6667008 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
