A man has been charged in relation to a fatal stabbing in Dublin yesterday.
A 45 year-old man was killed after he was stabbed during a row at Clinchs Court in the North Strand area of the city.
A second man who was injured in the incident was treated in hospital, before being taken into custody where he was questioned on suspicion of murder at Mountjoy Garda Station.
Gardaí were called to the cottage at Clinch's Court following reports of noise and disturbances at around 4am yesterday.
A row had broken out, which then spilled out onto the street and the two men sustained knife wounds.
The 45-year-old man was taken to the Mater Hospital, where he died at around 5.30am.
The second man was taken to St James's Hospital for treatment.
At least one other person, a woman, was also at the scene at the time.
Forensic specialists examined the scene and a post-mortem examination was later carried out.
