One of Ireland's biggest summer festivals is under way in Dublin.

Laya Healthcare's City Spectacular is taking place in Merrion Square all weekend.

The free event moves to Cork’s Fitzgerald Park on 20 and 21 July.

Over 250,000 people are expected to attend across both weekends, according to the event's organisers.

"This weekend you can expect the world’s best performers. We have an international breakdancing group called B-Xtreme. We have a guy who has 55 Guinness World Records called the Space Cowboy. We’ve an Argentinian football freestyler who’s performed with the likes of Messi, Ronaldo and Pele. We have the world’s best musicians, magicians. You name it we have it", said Festival Director Shell Holden.
