A 40-year-old man has been arrested after over €150,000 in cash was seized in Dublin.
Ecstasy tablets worth an estimated €2,000 were also recovered last night when gardaí stopped and searched a van that was travelling above the speed limit on the Finglas Road.
Gardaí say it is believed the cash is the proceeds of the sale and supply of controlled drugs.
Follow up searches were later carried out at addresses in Finglas and Lucan.
Six mobile phones were recovered, including an encrypted phone.
The man is being held at Finglas Garda Station.
