A man has died in hospital following a fire at an apartment complex in Dublin city centre.
The fire happened at the building on Benburb Street at around 8.30pm last night.
A number of units from Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene and the fire was quickly extinguished.
The man, who was in his early 60s, was treated as a casualty at the scene before being brought to the Mater Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
There were no other casualties.
Gardaí at Bridewell Garda Station are investigating the fire.
