A man in his 40s has died after a road crash in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí are investigating the crash, which occurred at around 2.15am on the N4 inbound at Lucan.
The man, who was travelling alone, died after his car left the road and crashed into a wall.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Blanchardstown Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened.
