A man and a woman have been arrested following an armed robbery at a shop in north county Dublin.
The incident happened at Waterside in Malahide shortly before 10pm.
A man with a hammer forced staff to open the till before taking a sum of money.
He then left in a vehicle that was waiting outside.
No staff member required medical treatment following the incident.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s were arrested shortly afterwards.
They have been taken to two Dublin garda stations where they are being held.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
