The Criminal Assets Bureau has taken possession of a house in Finglas, Dublin 11.
It is centred on an investigation into the assets of a person who is involved in the sale and supply of drugs.
The seizure follows an order over the property, which was obtained by CAB earlier this year.
"The Criminal Assets Bureau took possession of a residential dwelling in Finglas, Dublin 11 at 10.00am this morning, Monday the 12th August 2019," said a spokesperson.
"On the 17th January 2019, the Criminal Assets Bureau obtained an Order over this property pursuant to Section 3 of the Proceeds of Crime Act, 1996, as amended. An Order pursuant to Section 2 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 1996, as amended, was initially granted in the High Court on the 23rd of February 2018."
