Three men have appeared in court charged in connection with the theft of tools from a building site in Newtownmountkennedy in Co Wicklow on Thursday.
All of the men face four charges; trespass, criminal damage, handling stolen goods and possession of certain articles with intent to commit theft or burglary.
Edward Collins, 43, of 15 Collinstown Crescent in Dublin; 31-year-old James Sweeney of 3 Turnpike Road, Ballymount, Dublin, and 18-year-old John Mongan of 34 Kilmahuddrick Road in Clondalkin were all brought before Judge Brendan Toale at Dublin District Court.
The three men all remained silent or said no comment when charged at Bray Garda Station last night.
Edward Collins was remanded in custody until Tuesday 23 January.
James Sweeney and John Mongan were both given bail with conditions. Their next court appearance is set for 20 February.
