An investigation is under way into a cash in transit robbery in Dublin.
The incident happened at the Bank of Ireland in Glasnevin at around 3.40pm this afternoon.
A raider confronted a staff member as he was on his way into the bank, threatened him with a weapon and took a box of cash which could hold up to €40,000.
The raider was then driven away by another man in a car that was found burned out at the back of the nearby Bon Secours Hospital.
Nobody was injured during the robbery and gardaí have appealed for anyone with any information about it to contact them.
