A 33-year-old man has appeared in court in Dublin charged with the murder of a Romanian teenager who went missing in the capital four years ago.
Alan Wilson from New Street Gardens, Dublin 8, was charged with the murder of Marioara Rostas.
The 18-year-old’s body was found in the Wicklow mountains three months ago.
The murder is alleged to have taken place at a house on Brabazon Street in Dublin on 8 January 2008.
The court was told that in reply to the charge Mr Wilson said: “I didn't do this."
Judge Patrick Clyne granted him free legal aid.
Mr Wilson was remanded him in custody to appear again at Dublin District Court next Thursday.
He was arrested earlier today in Dublin.
