Many people around Ireland are focusing in on providing a smile to others at this time - here are five of those positive things that are happening right now.

Students of the Dance Academy Limerick have been recording themselves dancing at home, and their teacher Eimear McCartney compiled a montage of their contributions and uploaded it to Facebook as a thank you to frontline workers.

A tree in Thurles, Co Tipperary has become a light of positivity in the area with people living in its 2km radius adorning the tree with positive messages, well wishes and some arts and crafts.

In Lusk, Co Dublin, the athletics club has been training individually to keep their skills up to scratch and put together a video showing their camaraderie while apart.

The Blackwater Céilí Band have released a special video to raise funds for health workers. In the video each member plays together from their individual homes, through the use of a 10-section split screen.

Another musical offering comes from the students at St Louis Secondary School in Dundalk, Co Louth. The music students would be set to undertake their practical exams around now, but as they have been cancelled, they decided to perform their recitals for each other.
