A public appeal has been made to help find a 32-year-old man who is missing from Ballybrit, Co Galway.

Stephen Cunningham is 1.88m (6'2") tall with a thin build, blue eyes, sandy/blonde hair and may have a beard or be unshaven.

He was seen Gannon's Filling Station, Belclare, Westport in Mayo on 5 November and again at Dunnes Stores, Briar Hill, Galway on 6 November.

Mr Cunningham was wearing a waist length cream or beige hooded jacket, blue jeans and beige shoes.

His car, a silver Volkswagen Passat ( 08G3521), was found at Bunnakill, Maam Cross on Wednesday 10 November.

It is believed the car may have been parked there since Sunday 7 November.

Extensive multi-agency searches have been carried out and Mr Cunningham’s family are concerned for his welfare.

Landowners around Maam Cross have been asked to check sheds, outhouses or other remote buildings on their land.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
