The body of a fisherman, who has been missing since earlier this month, has been recovered from Lough Mask in Co Mayo.
Sean Moloney, from Ballinrobe, was reported missing on Friday 8 March.
It is thought he got into difficulties while negotiating a section of the lake.
Efforts to locate him have been continuing for the last three weeks, with poor weather hampering progress at various stages.
This afternoon members of the Mayo based Granuaile sub aqua club located the body of the 78-year-old, a short distance away from where his boat was found.
Mr Moloney’s remains are being taken to Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
