We all know the small petrol pumps dotted around the country on the edges of footpaths and the side of hilltops.

Derek Mahon wrote about them in his poem "A Garage in Co Cork".

They have also inspired photographer Stephen Davison and he has penned a radio essay as an ode to petrol pumps for The Business.
