Revolut has announced a revamp of its paid plans and the addition of Revolut Plus, an option that allows customers protect their purchases from theft, damage, or no-returns policies.
The purchase protection covers Plus customers up to €1,000, Premium customers up to €2,500, and Metal customers up to €10,000 if their eligible purchases are accidentally damaged or stolen, for a whole year.
There is an extended 90-day refunds for eligible purchases for Paid plan customers, with refunds returned straight to their Revolut account.
Revolut Plus customers will also be able to securely spend online with virtual cards, or pay in-store with mobile payment services like Google Pay, Apple Pay and Fitbit pay.
The financial app, which has over 1.2 million customers in Ireland, said customers who sign up to Revolut Plus will receive priority customer support.
Nik Storonsky, CEO and Founder at Revolut, said the company wants to help customers shop safely, knowing their purchases are protected by Revolut from theft, damage, or no-returns policies.
"Revamping our paid plans and introducing Plus should give a big boost to our customers' confidence and wallets," Felix Jamestin, Head of Premium Product at Revolut, said.
