A Galway based digital marketing firm has been selected by Enterprise Ireland to advise companies on diversifying their businesses as Brexit approaches.
IMS Marketing won the tender to deliver strategic consultancy and advice to businesses looking to expand into new European markets.
With less than ten weeks to go until Brexit, many firms that currently export into Britain, are now looking for alternative markets in an effort to reduce their exposure to the UK market.
The strategic marketing firm has over 14 years of experience in developing international marketing programmes for some of the world's leading organisations in the healthcare, technology, and engineering sectors.
The contract is part of Enterprise Ireland's executive education programme, 'Enter the Eurozone'.
"Over the next four years, this initiative will see our senior consultants work closely with some of Ireland's most progressive companies to assist them with their international growth goals," Kevin Moran, Managing Director of IMS Marketing said.
"In the context of the current Brexit crisis, it will provide many companies with an opportunity to diversify outside of the UK into a mainland European country."
The pilot programme will see up to 20 participant companies receive educational modules with the German business school, ESMT, followed by strategic consulting from IMS Marketing.
IMS currently employs 16 people in Oranmore in Galway but expects to grow the number to 25 in the next two years.
