Ryanair pilots are being balloted for strike action in a dispute over pay at the airline.

The Irish Airline Pilots Association - a branch of the Forsa trade union - said its pilot members at Ryanair were frustrated and disappointed at the lack of progress in ongoing pay talks with the company.

The ballot is due to conclude on Friday, 9 August, but IALPA said it would continue to engage with Ryanair to try to resolve the dispute.

The next meeting with Ryanair management is due on Tuesday, 30 July.
