Irish-owned ICT firm Aspire Technology is doubling its employee numbers through the creation of 150 jobs at its headquarters in Sandyford, Co Dublin.
The new roles include software developers, network engineers, design specialists and project managers at both experienced and graduate levels, and recruitment will begin immediately.
The company delivers end-to-end mobile network life cycle professional services and product solutions to telecommunications, equipment and software providers.
The jobs are supported by the Department of Jobs through Enterprise Ireland.
Aspire will also be adding to its existing headquarters in Sandyford by building a state-of-the-art network support centre there.
The new centre will serve over 16m mobile customers across 32 markets during 2017, while plans are in place to grow this facility to manage over 50m mobile customers.
Separately, 100 jobs are to be created in Dublin by an Irish mechanical, electrical, engineering and energy services company.
Designer Group Limited will add the positions over the coming year.
The firm will officially open its new €2m offices in Blanchardstown later this morning.
The new jobs will bring to 750 the number of people employed by the company, which has added 250 staff in the last two years.
The company was set up in 1992 and provides services to commercial and industrial customers.
130 apprentices, most of whom are from the local area, are employed by the company and are trained at its old office which has been converted into a training centre.
The business has offices in Ireland and Germany and currently operates here, the UK, Africa and the US.
Among its clients are Yahoo, Dropbox, Irish Life and Bristol Myers Squibb.
