Software provider IIS Group has announced the creation of 50 new jobs.

Dublin-based IIS said this will take the number of new jobs within the company this year to 80.

The company employed just 14 people in 2010, and when the new positions are filled, its total headcount will exceed 150 people.

The new jobs will be filled in the company's headquarters in Ireland and in its other offices across the UK, the Netherlands and Poland.

Morgan Browne, the company's group chief Executive, said the new jobs come during a time when the company is experiencing a sustained period of growth and demand for its innovative products.

The IIS Group provide business management software, services and support to small and medium-sized enterprises.
