The Central Bank has appointed Derville Rowland as Director of Enforcement after a competitive selection process.
The bank said that Ms Rowland will assume her new role with immediate effect.
Ms Rowland joined the Central Bank in 2004, and was appointed Head of Enforcement in 2010. She joined the bank from ACCA, London where she held the position of Regulatory Counsel.
Derville is a qualified barrister in both the UK and Irish jurisdictions.
