Media services company is to create 30 jobs as part of an expansion of its head office in Cork.

The jobs will be in research and development, sales and office management.

The company said that the expansion was a response to ‘the explosion in demand globally from customers for advanced converged multiscreen TV, on demand and IP services across the TV, mobile and web’.

Eoin Shanaghy, head of research and development with Digisoft said that TV operators and service providers were facing complex challenges as they respond to the unprecedented demand for content and internet services across multiple devices.

‘We are seeking suitably qualified people who are interested in working in at the forefront of an industry that has evolving at a pace hitherto unseen in its 60 year history,’ Mr Shanaghy said.

Digisoft’s provides solutions for TV service providers and operators to deliver applications and services such as video and music on demand, social media services, and targeted advertising.
