Technology company Endeco says it will create 30 jobs by 2012 after it secured an investment worth €800,000.

Endeco has invented and developed a range of wireless smart energy management technologies, which it is already selling into the retail sector. These are used by supermarkets, hotels, healthcare, telecommunications, utility and other companies with high energy costs.

It operates directly in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK and in other markets through a range of partners.

The funding was led by the €53m AIB Seed Capital Fund, while additional funding was raised through Enterprise Ireland and private investors.
