Deloitte Ireland is currently recruiting for up to 200 positions across the firm.
The positions are a combination of experienced jobs in the firm's technology and consulting practice and graduate recruitment positions for next year.
After a number of new business wins recently, Deloitte says it needs over 30 technology consultants. The roles are based in Dublin and will start immediately.
The company also said graduate recruitment positions will be available in its Dublin, Cork and Limerick offices across all of its departments, including audit, tax, consulting and corporate finance.
At least 150 people will start in 2011, while a small number will start this year.
Deloitte employs over 1,100 people in Ireland.
Meanwhile, 34 new jobs in a Co Monaghan plastic bottle recycling firm were announced this morning.
The new jobs are as a result of a €3.5m investment in the plastic bottle sorting plant in the Shabra Group in Castleblayney, Co Monaghan. The expansion is being supported by the Enterprise Ireland Growth Fund.
Irish-owned Shabra already employs 49 workers. It collects, reprocesses and recycles waste plastic bottles and film.
The new workers will be recruited over the next three years in areas such as general operations, research and development, manufacturing supervision and administration.
The new sorting plant reprocesses low-value used plastic bottles and film into value-added recyclate which would otherwise go to landfill or be exported. It can sort over 40,000 tonnes of mixed plastic bottles each year.
Opening the extension, the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation Batt O'Keeffe said the new plant would boost Shabra's recyclate export sales worldwide.
