A repossession request by KBC Bank Ireland on five unoccupied properties in Carrick-on-Shannon owned jointly by fugitive solicitor Michael Lynn and another man, John Riordan, has been adjourned until October by the High Court.

The Court was told by counsel for Mr Riordan that the case was extremely complicated and that his client was in Portugal but would be returning to Ireland, and that he would be forwarding detailed instructions.

KBC Bank is owed €2.5m by Mr Lynn and Mr Riordan.

Today the High Court granted 15 repossession orders sought by several banks and building societies, including five sought by Start Mortgages,
three by Bank of Ireland and two by AIB.
