140 jobs are to be created in Dublin by the TLC Nursing Home Group. The jobs will be at a new care centre in Northwood Park in Santry.

The purpose-built nursing home will house 100 beds for both public and private patients, day care and respite facilities.

The TLC Group employs 354 people in its three existing centres. The first TLC Centre, also in Northwood Park, opened in December 2004 and is now fully occupied with a waiting list. The second TLC Centre opened in Maynooth, Co Kildare, in November 2008 and the TLC Centre in City West was opened in May 2009.

Further plans are already in action for locations in Blanchardstown and Killiney, which will bring total employment for the group to over 800 people.
