Britain's trade-in-goods deficit expanded to £6.5 billion sterling in June, official data showed.
The deficit compared with a deficit of £6.2 billion in May, the Office for National Statistics said in a statement.
June's deficit was in line with market expectations, while May's deficit was revised lower from an original reading of £6.3 billion.
The deficit with EU countries in June was £2.8 billion, compared with £3 billion in May. The deficit with non-EU countries in June was £3.6 billion, compared with £3.2 billion in May.
