Peter Goulandris has resigned as a director of luxury goods group Waterford Wedgwood. He is the latest director to resign since the company went into receivership earlier this month.

Mr Goulandris is the brother-in-law of chairman Dr Tony O'Reilly, who resigned earlier this month.

Waterford Wedgwood director and former chief executive Redmond O'Donoghue told RTE earlier this month that Dr O'Reilly and Mr Goulandris - the main shareholders - had invested around €400m in the company in the last four to five years.
