Irish based energy company Kedco started trading on London's AIM market this morning.

The company has listed almost 199.5 million shares, which gives Kedco a market capitalisation of about €34.9m at the admission price of 17.5 cents per share.

Kedco specialises in the generation of electrical power from sustainable fuel sources in Ireland and the UK. It sources technologies for sale to a customer base which comprises medium sized waste operators, local authorities, food companies and agricultural operators.

'We believe our presence on AIM will raise our profile among new and existing customers, enhancing their understanding of our proposition and its revenue generating opportunities,' commented Kedco's CEO Donal Buckley.

'Our AIM listing will also give us access to international capital markets which will provide additional support as we look to build and expand our business,' he added.
