Mobile phone operator Meteor added 37,000 customers in the first three months of this year, bringing its total base to 376,600, according to its parent company Western Wireless.
Nearly all of Meteor's customers are pre-paid. Western Wireless did not break down profit figures in its first quarter results last night.
