UK upturn narrows Vislink losses

Vislink, the Dublin-listed company which supplies satellite transmission products and CCTV systems, has reported reduced pre-tax losses of just under £1m for last year. This compares with losses of £3.3m in 2003.

Turnover was flat at £68m, but operating profits moved up from £2m to £2.3m.

Vislink said prospects for 2005 were 'encouraging', and that its UK business had returned to profit at the end of the year after a restructuring. The group set aside £1.5m for the restructuring.
