A number of former Elan employees have set up a new company to provide research and development services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and veterinary industries.
Enterprise Ireland is taking a stake in Athlone-based BioClin Research Laboratories, which plans to increase employment from the current 11 to 30 in the next three years.
