Air Wales has announced a new route between Dublin and Cork, starting on April 28.
Two daily return flights from Dublin to Cork and Cork to Dublin will be flown by the airline between Monday and Friday. The weekend schedule offers a daily return flight on this new route.
Air Wales is the national Welsh carrier and has been operating since 1999. Based at Swansea, it operates daily between Cardiff, Swansea, Plymouth, Jersey, Belfast, Dublin and Cork.
'The Irish market is going from strength to strength with an increasing number of passengers travelling daily on all routes,' said Adrian Thompson, Managing Director at Air Wales.
'The new Dublin-Cork route will answer a definite need for a fast, efficient and lower cost service between two of Ireland's major cities,' he added.
