Aer Lingus said today that it will resume its scheduled flights between Dublin and Baltimore/Washington from the end of next March. Aer Lingus will operate five flights a week from Ireland to Baltimore when the services resumes.

The airline dropped the route in October 2001 as part of its major restructuring plan as it reduced capacity on its transatlantic routes by 17%.

Aer Lingus also operates direct flights to New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles in the US.
