A seven-year-old Irish girl is in critical condition following an incident at a swimming pool on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
Emergency services on the Balearic island said they were called to a hotel at Cales de Mallorca yesterday afternoon.
The girl was treated for cardiorespiratory arrest using CPR.
She was transferred to the University Hospital Son Espases near Palma.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is providing assistance to her family.
