A 36-year-old man has been arrested after drugs worth €300,000 were seized in Dublin.

As part of an ongoing investigation targeting organised crime a vehicle was stopped and a premises in west Dublin was searched yesterday.

In the course of the operation, 5kg of ketamine with an estimated street sale value of €300,000 was seized.  

A man was arrested and is being held at Crumlin Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing. 

Gardaí say this brings to €900k the value of ketamine seized by personnel from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in separate operations in Dublin since yesterday.
