"It is a sign of where we are as a country that we say 'thank goodness we have a mute button to keep the behaviour of the leader of the free world in control a little bit'" .

While David Litt, a former speechwriter for Barack Obama, is relieved that the mute button was not needed for last night's final presidential debate, there was plenty of sparring between the two candidates last night in Nashville, Tennessee.
