Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road crash on the N25 in Burgess, Co Cork, on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred when three cars collided at the junction near a filling station at around 4.30pm.
A 94-year-old woman who was airlifted from the scene to Cork University Hospital, died from her injuries on Sunday.
A 46-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, who were also taken to CUH following the collision, have since been released from hospital.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was travelling on the N25 at Burgess between 4pm and 4.30pm on 31 July and who may have witnessed the crash - particularly any motorists with dash cam footage - to contact Midleton Garda Station on 021 4621550, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
