A man has been arrested following a hijacking incident in Dublin yesterday.
The incident happened around 8.15am on Capel Street, Dublin 1.
A man approached the car, which was stopped at a traffic light, and told the driver to get out of the car.
The man took off in the car and drove southbound on the quays.
At around 10am, the car was involved in a collision with two other vehicles on Walkinstown Avenue, Dublin 12.
No one was injured in the collision.
A man, who is in his late 20s, was arrested at the scene of the crash and brought to Store Street Garda Station.
He has been charged in relation to the incident and is due to appear in court tomorrow.
