A woman, believed to be in her late 40s, has died in a house fire in Clifden, Co Galway.
Gardaí said the alarm was raised at around 7pm yesterday when a fire broke out at a house in Tullyvoheen.
Gardaí and Fire Services attended the scene.
The fire was brought under control a short time later and the woman's body was located inside the house.
The scene is currently preserved for examination.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
