The body of a Canadian diver who had been missing off Malin Head in Co Donegal since Saturday has been recovered.
It is understood his body was found on the wreck where he was diving.
A group of divers set out from Downings pier on a charter boat on Saturday morning, it is understood.
They were diving at a depth of 65m at the site of the Pinto wreck - one of a number of sunken ships from the WWII era off Malin Head.
Lough Swilly lifeboat got a call shortly after 4pm on Saturday afternoon to assist in a search operation after one of the divers got into difficulty 16 miles north of Malin Head.
Lough Swilly RNLI spokesperson Joe Joyce said yesterday the group were believed to be technical divers, who are permitted to exceed the normal recreational limits imposed on depth and immersion time
