The identity of a man whose body was found washed up on Bray beach last month has been confirmed.
The body was found by a passerby on 27 March.
An appeal for information was made last week, with photographs of the man's clothes and possessions released.
Gardaí say the man's family came forward following the appeal last week.
DNA tests were carried out and the man's body was formally identified.
His family are now making arrangements for his funeral.
It is believed the man, originally from Dublin, had been living in Bray prior to his death.
