The winning ticket for the EuroMillions jackpot of €88,587,275 was sold in Dublin, the National Lottery confirmed this evening.
The agency this evening said: "The lucky ticket holders have made contact with the National Lottery following their win to make arrangements to collect their prize money."
It is the third winning ticket sold in Ireland in the past 12 months.
On 29 January last year, the winning ticket for a €66,188,316 jackpot was sold at Easons, Fairgreen Shopping Centre, Carlow.

There had been speculation that the winning ticket was sold at a newsagents in Glounthaune in Co Cork.
However, speaking this evening the store's manager said "while it is disappointing that it wasn't a Cork win, the craic and fun they had over the past two days brighten up a very grey January for everyone locally."
