An elderly woman has died in a house fire in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The fire broke out at a house in Ventry Park in Cabra at about 3.40am.
Three units of the fire brigade attended the incident.
Aa woman believed to be in her 80s, who was the only occupant of the house, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been taken to the city morgue.
Gardaí are not treating the fire as suspicious.
