Gardaí have renewed their appeal for witnesses in relation to an assault on a woman in her 30s that occurred last Sunday morning.
Gardaí are investigating the incident where the woman was assaulted by a man on her way to work early last Sunday morning (13 November) in Swords, Co Dublin.
The woman was walking on the R132 close to the Seatown Road and the Seatown Roundabout (known locally as Woodies roundabout) when she was attacked.
The incident took place at about 6.45am.
The woman, who was walking to work, was assaulted by a man wearing a grey hoodie.
She received minor injuries during the incident and she managed to get away from her attacker and was helped by a passing cyclist.
Gardaí in Swords are again appealing for witnesses, they are particularly interested in speaking to a number of people who stopped and assisted the woman after she was assaulted.
It is believed that two taxi men assisted the woman, one man in a red/maroon, saloon-type car and the second taxi man had a fare on board.
Two men also assisted who were in a recovery-type vehicle with flashing red lights on the back.
