A woman has been arrested in connection with an armed raid on a post office in Kerry earlier this week.
The woman, who is in her late 20s, was arrested in Killarney at 5.30pm yesterday evening. Her period of detention has been extended until tomorrow evening.
Gardaí have confirmed they are no longer actively searching for a third possible suspect involved in Wednesday's robbery in An Coireán.
They said that they believe a third person was involved "directly or indirectly" with the robbery.
Two detectives were hospitalised in a ramming incident following the raid.
Their unmarked car was repeatedly rammed after the raiders threatened the officers with a gun.
Three warning shots were fired by the gardaí.
Two men were arrested soon after when they were found hiding in a farm yard in the area.
Their periods of detention have been extended until lunchtime tomorrow.
The men, who are in their 30s and from Killarney, were earlier brought before a scheduled hearing at Cork District Court where an application under Section 30 of the Criminal Justice Act was heard and granted.
They are being held at garda stations in Tralee and Killarney.
