Motorists hoping to travel around Dublin city this weekend are facing disruption due to diversions put in place in the city centre.
Road works, which are to allow work on the Luas Cross City tram line, will see the north and south quays closed to traffic in both directions at O'Connell Bridge until 6am on Tuesday.
A number of major sporting events are taking place in the city this weekend, including All-Ireland football qualifiers and quarter-finals in Croke Park and the friendly meeting of Glasgow Celtic and Barcelona at the Aviva Stadium.
People attending this events are advised to avoid the city centre entirely and use the M50 instead, exiting at Junction 3 for Croke Park and Junction 14 for the Aviva Stadium.
Additional Luas and DART services are being put on for the weekend, while there will be free parking at all DART, commuter rail and Luas park and ride sites.
In a statement, the director of communications with the Luas Cross City project said the "team are working closely with An Garda Síochána, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Dublin City Council and public transport operators to reduce the impact."
Grainne Mackin added: "The city will remain fully accessible for shoppers and visitors throughout the weekend."
