Police in the United States have confirmed that singer Sinead O'Connor has been found safe.
She "has been located safe and is no longer listed as a missing/endangered person," said Eric Peterson, a spokesman for police in Wilmette, Illinois.
The police did not comment on where she was found, but the local Wilmette Beacon newspaper said she had been staying for several weeks with friends in the area.
Earlier, police in Wilmette reported that the 49-year-old had gone for a bicycle ride at 6am yesterday (12pm Irish time) and had not returned.
The statement said a caller to police had expressed concern for her well-being.
