Footage from the Imperial War Museum shows Dublin's O'Connell St, or Sackville St as it was at the time, before and after the 1916 Easter Rising.
The video shows the devastation done to the city in the wake of the fighting, including showing the ruins of Liberty Hall - the headquarters of the Rising - which was heavily shelled by the Helga.
Much of the O'Connell St area was destroyed by shelling, which can clearly be seen in the archive footage.
The video also shows members of the Irish Volunteers parading in the open prior to the Rising, as well as people walking the streets through the rubble.
