A man in his 30s is in a serious condition in hospital after the van he was driving crashed into a house in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The incident, which resulted in extensive damage to the van and the house, happened at the gates of Beaumont Hospital at around 3am.
The van was carrying carpets and carpet fitting equipment.
The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
